PUERTO RICO STILL NEEDS YOUR HELP
WIN A LOST SURFBOARD FOR DOING SO
A fundraiser has been launched to secure cash for an organisation that is still on the ground in Puerto Rico following the island’s bludgeoning by Hurricane Maria.
Maria laid into Puerto Rico for a solid 20 hours on September 20th of this year, 100 per cent of the island lost electricity and a month or so later, 79 per cent were still without power.
But access to clean water is still an issue and it is why Waves for Water deployed in the country, to help provide clean, and safe, drinking solutions. Now, realwatersports.com is hosting a funding drive to help support W4W in their relief efforts.
Jon Rose, from W4W, says from the field: “Our teams in Puerto Rico and the neighboring Caribbean islands continue to identify and reach areas that are still in need.
“With the large number of organizations that have poured into Puerto Rico, our local team there has been focused on reaching the areas that haven’t been reached and are still in need of access to clean water.”

A raffle is being organised with 100 per cent of the funds raised donated to the Puerto Rico initiative.
The prizes? A 7-night stay at Villa Sessions in Puerto Rico next winter. A …Lost Surfboard of your choice from Real’s inventory, a FCS accessory pack and one year pro accounts with magicseaweed an Surfline.
Winning a new board or a stay in Puerto Rico in exchange for donating to a worthy cause, sounds a fair trade. Winner announced on January 6. To enter, all you gotta do is go right HERE.
